I am sitting in the Market Place right now in the Student Union at school, where I should be studying for my Philosophy final that takes place in about fifteen minutes, but instead, I am here.
Jill and I are all moved into the new apartment. It's on the first floor, and half of the first floor is underground, so it stays nice and cool in there, which will be really nice for the summer. It took me four days to move all of my crap out of the old apartment. I cannot believe I had accumulated that much junk in the span of seven or eight months. I didn't even really throw a lot of stuff out.
We just need some couches, and we will be set. Unfortunately I won't be able to do that for a while. Jill and I both gained quite a few bruises while moving stuff, mostly my stuff, so we have some battle wounds.
At work on Monday, I had a woman who wanted me fired because she didn't understand that if you wanted your second pair of shoes half off, it had to be a pair that wasn't already on sale. Then on Tuesday, I helped a little old woman print of 129 pictures of her and her husband's 50th wedding anniversary, and she gave me a $10 tip and told me all kinds of nice things and wanted me to go out to dinner on her as a thank you for being so helpful at the picture making station. It's hard to say they canceled eachother out, because her gesture was so nice, but they kinda did. It took over 2 hours to print everything off. Whew! She even went to the manager on duty and gave me a good recommendation, so my name will be put in for the employee of the month drawing again! That'd be great if I got it again, but I'm not sure how that's determined.
Oh well.
Things with Aaron and I are still going great. He accidentally punched me in the sternum last night because it was dark and he couldn't see me and didn't think he was going to actually hit me. I made sure he felt super bad about it all night :D. Tonight I believe we are going to go see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's been about 6 years since I read the book, so I won't have to worry about the movie being bad and whatnot because I don't really remember most of the book, just the premise of the story, which is really all you need. I'll let you know how it goes when I get back.
This Philosophy final is my last final of the school year and I am done! I only know my grades for one class so far, and that was Health, the class that gave me headaches for the last month of school, and I got a B in it. Quite nice, I can deal with that. I also got an 84% on my Review of Literature paper that I'd been working so hard on, and I think an 84% or 86% on my Effects of 9-11 paper for Government, so hopefully that will really help my grade out, because I'm not sure how I did on the final, even though I studied my butt off for it and even had Aaron help me last night 'cause he's smart with those things. His brain is like a sponge...he just goes on the internet and sucks all the knowledge out of it and spews it back to all of us. Wee!
Anyway, off to do some last-minute studying before the test. Adios.
